The RGK Tiga Wheelchair with Alber e-fix E35 Power Assist combines the performance and efficiency of a premium active wheelchair with the convenience of powered mobility. The Tiga is built around a rigid, lightweight aerospace-grade 7020 aluminium frame, designed to maximise pushing efficiency while minimising drag. Starting from just 7.7kg in its standard manual configuration, the Tiga features RGK’s hollow-forged castor arm design, low-ride castor forks and optimised biomechanics for responsive handling and efficient everyday use. The rigid frame delivers the direct, precise driving characteristics for which RGK active wheelchairs are renowned.
Fitted to the Tiga is the Alber e-fix E35, which transforms the manual wheelchair into a joystick-controlled powered chair while retaining the versatility of the original lightweight design. Motors, brakes and gearing are integrated directly into the e-fix drive wheels, which can be removed without tools for easier transportation, while the compact lithium-ion battery weighs just 1.9kg. The intuitive control unit features a TFT display showing battery capacity and remaining range, with variable speeds up to approximately 4 mph and a range of up to 10 miles on the standard battery. The e-fix wheels can also be uncoupled for manual operation, giving the user the flexibility of both powered and traditional wheelchair mobility in one highly versatile package.
